Having problems with your website?   If it's slow to load, displaying incorrectly, or even not loading properly, there will be a reason, and the first step is to identify what the problem is.

If you need to have a change made to your website please contact us with details - most minor updates can be completed within a 24-48 hour period.

If you need to contact us about your website, please make sure you include as many details as you can.  Are errors happening on a specific page or when you access a particular website function?  The more specific you can be the faster we can resolve the problem.  You can lodge a support ticket in the Client Control Panel at the top of this page, or email us at support[at]yourhost.net.nz

We aim to respond regarding all support requests within 1 hour during normal business hours.

Please work through the following steps:

  1. Go to www.google.com to verify that it is not your internet connection. If the Google site also takes a long time to load, please contact your internet service provider.
  2. Re-type the web address in your browser to verify it isn't a typing error.
  3. Please verify you have made your hosting payment.
  4. If you have recently signed up for our hosting service - it may take 24-48 hours for the domain name servers to resolve. 
  5. Please try to open your website in a browser window - type in the address and hit Enter/Go, then, hold down the Shift key and rapidly hit the Refresh button several times.
  6. Are you receiving a database error? You may receive a database error if there was a problem in the connection or if the server timed out. Please refresh the page. If that does not help, or it happens frequently, please contact us so we can troubleshoot the issue!

If you are receiving SPAM from your website forms please contact us to have website spam filters placed on your forms.
